HealthAid is an educational mobile web application designed to empower young adults to more proactively manage their healthcare.
The application guides users through step-by-step, self-directed medical examinations enabling users to better maintain their health between appointments or in the event they don’t have ready access to healthcare providers.
HealthAid allows users to store their own Patient Health Information, giving them a greater understanding of their health.
28 user interviews attributed a lack of healthcare to location, insurance regulations, and schedule. Currently said users ask parents/friends for advice, or check into the emergency room to receive care.
Onboarding made easy. Answering a few background questions allows HealthAid to better fit each user's individual needs.
Dashboard and PHI
Extrinsic motivation is provided by the yearly self-check progress bar.
Having access to their PHI allows users to both monitor their own health and transition between healthcare professionals.
Customized checks ensure relevancy for users. Notes and doctors’ contacts helps users consolidate information.
